L-lysine is mainly used as a feed additive due to the low volumes of this amino acid in plant-based feed.

Lysine is an essential amino acid present in almost any protein – it is a prerequisite for growth, tissue repair, production of antibodies, hormones, enzymes and albumins

Food lactic acid is an aqueous solution of lactic acid, which is obtained through fermentation of carbohydrate-containing raw materials

Lactic acid yield during fermentation is 85-95%.

Lactic acid is widely used in the food industry, veterinary medicine, pharma and in the production of biodegradable plastics (e.g. PLA)

90% of Russia's demand for lactic acid is covered by imports. This situation is similar with other organic acids

Biodegradable Polyester Polyactide (PLA) production becomes largest consumer of lactic acid

Vitamins are low molecular weight organic substances that can have a strong and varied effect on living organisms in very low concentrations. They take an active part in the metabolism of humans and animals, influencing various physiological processes

At the moment, local manufacturing in Russia can only supply ~15% of the total required volume of vitamins

A number of vitamins are obtained microbiologically including Vitamin B12, vitamin B2 (riboflavin), as well as ergosterol and carotene, and many others

DISCOVERY Research Group estimates suggest that the market for vitamins for animal husbandry in Russia in 2019 amounted to 10,694 tons. Vast majority of these vitamins have been consumed by agricultural animals and birds.
